These Nearfield Acoustic Pipe Dream speakers need TLC. many of the individual speakers need to be repaired or replaced.. (see pics). The midranges all seem to be working but a lot need new dustcaps. The tweeters one speaker are not playing nut I did get to one of them and hooked up direct to it and it did play so I am thinking there may be a problem with the crossover but I don’t know that for sure. The other speaker 12 of the 18 are working …Binding posts will need replacement as well..The cabinets have scratches and the laminate is coming off in spots. The 18” Dual subs still play great! Best I’ve heard…but the cabinet needs tlc as well . Take a good look at the pics. They are heavy speakers so shipping is not an option. Pick-up only. From what I have found, these were approx $26,000 new. I don’t know a lot about these but would be happy to answer any questions I could. You can audition them of course. I believe they sound pretty incredible without all drivers operating as they should. You must hear these!! I really wanted to keep them but I’m not handy that way to fix them up…due to spam.
